1. Personal Information

4. Changes to the Purpose of Use

  2. In the event of a change in the purpose of use, the Company shall notify the user or publicly announce the change on this website after the change of the purpose of use by a method prescribed by the Company.

5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

  1. The Company shall not provide Personal Information to any third parties without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this does not apply to cases permitted by the Act on the Protection of Personal Information.
    1. When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual whose consent is difficult to obtain
    2. When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children when it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned
    3. When it is necessary to cooperate with a national government organ, local government, or person or entity entrusted by either of the foregoing with respect to the implementation of the affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the consent of the relevant person is likely to interfere with the implementation of such affairs
    4. When the following items have been notified or publicly announced in advance and the Company has reported such items to the Personal Information Protection Commission

      2. Items of data provided to a third party
      3. Means or methods of provision to a third party
      4. Cessation of the provision of Personal Information to a third party at the request of the relevant individual
      5. Acceptance of the method of request of the relevant individual
  2. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph s, in the following cases, the recipient of such information shall not fall under the category of a third party.
    1. When the Company outsources all or part of the handling of Personal Information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
    2. When Personal Information is provided in connection with the success of business due to merger or other grounds
    3. When Personal Information is jointly used with a specific individual or entity, and the Company has notified the relevant individual or entity in advance to that effect, the items of Personal Information to be jointly used, the scope of the joint users, the purpose of use by the joint users, and the name of the persons responsible for the management of said Personal Information, or when it is put in a place easily accessible to the relevant individual

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

  1. When the Company is requested by the relevant individual to disclose Personal Information, the Company shall disclose such Personal Information to the relevant individual without delay. However, if any of the following cases apply as a result of disclosure, the Company may not disclose all or part of it, and if it is decided not to disclose such Personal Information, the Company will notify to that effect without delay. In addition, when disclosing Personal Information, a fee of 1,000 Japanese yen shall be charged per case.
    1. When there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person concerned or a third party
    2. When there is a risk of significant interference to the proper conduct of the Company’s business
    3. Where there is a violation of other laws and regulations
  2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph s, in principle, the Company shall not disclose non-personal information, such as background information or information about characteristic

7. Corrections and Deletion of Personal Information

  1. If the user’s Personal Information held by the Company is incorrect, the user may request the Company to correct, add, or delete (the “Correction”) the Personal Information in accordance with procedures stipulated by the Company.
  2. If the Company receives a request from the user pursuant to the preceding paragraph and deems it necessary to respond to the request, the Company shall correct the relevant Personal Information without delay.
  3. When the Company makes a Correction pursuant to the preceding paragraph, or, decides not to make a Correction, the Company shall notify the user to that effect without delay.

8. Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.

  1. If the Company receives a request from the relevant person to suspend the use or delete the Personal Information (“Suspension of Use, etc.”) from the relevant person on the grounds that his or her Personal Information has been handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use or on the ground that it has been obtained by wrongful means, the Company shall conduct the necessary investigation without delay.
  2. Based on the results of the investigation in the preceding paragraph, if a response to the request is found to be necessary, the Company shall suspend the use of the Personal Information without delay.
  3. In the event of Suspension of Use, etc. based on the provisions of the preceding paragraph, or in the event of a decision not to conduct a Suspension of Use, etc., the Company shall notify the user without delay.
  4. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, in cases where it is difficult to suspend the use to protect the right of the user, such as when the Suspension of Use involves a large cost, if there are alternative measures available to take, such alternative measures shall be taken.

9. Revisions to the Privacy Policy

  1. The contents of this policy may be revised without notice to the user, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations or as otherwise stipulated in this policy
  2. Unless otherwise specified by the Company, the revised Privacy Policy shall take effect from the time it is posted on this website.
